FETCHMAIL for Win32

BECAUSE OF GPL LICENSE PROBLEMS I WONT PROVIDE THE INSTALLER ANYMORE UNTIL I MODIFIED IT… COME BACK SOON…

Hy,

Here is a win32 port of fetchmail  a GPLed program for mail retreival for Windoze NT4 and 2000.
It was compiled with cygwin with a little hack to avoid checking file permissions.

What do U need ?
    - YOU MUST INSTALL CYGWIN

What to download ?

- fetchmail-5.9.6.hacked_for_cygwin.tar.gz : the modified sources of fetchmail / fetchmail.zip the pre-compiled binaries.

- fetchmail-5.9.6-win32-setup-v1.0.0.exe (this one is buggy - thanks to Paul for his help) :

- fetchmail-5.9.6-win32-setup-v1.0.1.exe :

What to do now ?

- re-compile using CYGWIN

- add a path to CYGWIN/bin

- configure your c:\fetchmail\fetchmail.cfg (see Fetchmail homepage for details)

- find a kind of cron daemon for NT (or install it as a service via srvany.exe - MS DSK -) and run something like this :

c:\fetchmail\fetchmail.exe –f “c:\fetchmail\fetchmail.cfg”
